Rippple Media often works with talented musicians, inviting them to play at our launches and events. The book-music project Rowan and Eris is a novel that features an original soundtrack by Joel Havea.

At book launches and promotional events, we’ve already had some great musicians play, including Prita Grealy, Joel Havea, Matt Charles, Owen Gurrey, Sam Hogarth and Joel Sarakula.

Rippple Media is a strong supporter of independent music and also organises online events, including the Australian Artists in Germany series.

I’m an Australian writer, journalist, lecturer and creative writing teacher. A professional writer for over twenty years, I’ve published ten books, written for newspapers and magazines around the world and twice won the Fiction category of the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. One of my short stories, ‘Mikelis’, was made into a short film that screened at dozens of festivals through 2016-17. In 2020, I ran the Perth Writers Salon, a five-session writing course, during the Perth Fringe Festival, following on from running the same course in 2019 at the Fellowship of Australian Writers (WA). I also create content for some of the world’s biggest brands, including videos, press materials and creative copy. Apart from writing, I dabble in music and play lots of sport. I played high level basketball as a teenager, represented Australia twice at the World Age Group Championships of Triathlon, and currently play cricket in Hamburg.
